Question: I have a whole lot of goals. There are lots of things I want to accomplish. I know what I want to do but every time I start working on something, I seem to become easily sidetracked. I check my email. I get a phone call from an old friend. I get bored and decide to eat something. Since I work at home, often domestic chores will get in the way of me accomplishing my goals. I don’t know what to do.
Answer: There are so many things that could be creating this problem. Are your goals written down? Do you have a burning desire to accomplish them? What would you have to give up in order to be successful? What are the things you tell yourself about your success? What benefit do you get from the other things you are engaging in when you want to be focused on your goals? Do you have a good plan? Do you have the motivation to carry out your plan? Are your goals realistic? Are your goals measurable? Do you engage in neural reconditioning behaviors? There is so much to consider in the area of goal attainment.
